Torque wrenches are an indispensable part of today's bicycle workshop. The use of carbon, titanium and other light materials make careful assembly, including compliance with the prescribed torque, essential. Otherwise, the risk of destroying the expensive parts through improper assembly is simply too great.
Mérida's torque wrench is adjustable from 4-6 Nm. The torque is adjusted using a rotary knob on the top of the handle. There are a total of three torque settings 4.5 and 6 Nm. The torque wrench is also equipped with a 3, 4 and 5 mm Allen key and a T25 Torx key. This makes it suitable for most common screws on your bike. The unused keys are conveniently stowed inside the case.
