MAXXIS' most popular training tire and most stable road bike tire has been designed for new areas of use with TubelessReady technology and increased volume. Even more reliability and comfort, as well as the right tire sizes, make the ReFuse the first choice for gravel bikes and touring MTBs. Its diamond tread keeps rolling safely, even when the road turns into a dirt or gravel track.

Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a layer of rubber, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions right from the first inflation and with little liquid. Like tires from other manufacturers, "normal" MAXXIS MTB tires can also be mounted tubeless with sealant, as the carcass fabric is very tight. However, only the new MAXXIS TR models are officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by MAXXIS. Tubeless mounting of other models is at your own risk.

Note: We strongly advise against the use of sealant containing ammonia. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and can weaken it by up to 30% after just a few months, depending on the amount used.

MaxxShield (MS)
MaxxShield is the ultimate puncture protection. It combines SilkShield all-round protection with our K2 Layer (Kevlar Composite).

DualCompound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. We plan the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired properties of the tires.
