Maxxis' latest tire for fast 26" bikes!
In this further developed tire Maxxis realizes its Dual Compound rubber. The different layers in the tread blocks, each with their own degree of hardness, are designed to ensure less rolling resistance, a long service life and better grip. The low weight is achieved by the well-known fine 60 TPI carcass. Initial test rides confirm that the construction of the tire and the individual tread blocks are suitable for loose and hard surfaces.

Note from the manufacturer: Maxxis strongly advises against the use of sealants containing ammonia. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and can weaken it by up to 30% after just a few months, depending on the amount used. Maxxis recommends the use of Tire Plasma tire sealant.

Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions from the very first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection
This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

DualCompound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. Maxxis plans the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired properties of the tires.
