The Swedish brand Maurten offers a wide range of sports nutrition products. It was named after Mårten, a triathlete and friend of the family of company founder and entrepreneur Olof Sköld. In 2015, Maurten took up the challenge and developed the next generation of sports nutrition. Maurten's motto is: "Back to basics - no more and no less than what you really need."
Making progress doesn't mean starting from scratch - so the improved Drink Mix formula reflects Maurten's clear focus on performance and continuous development.
Thanks to the new Drink Mix formula, the tolerance of calcium in water is now significantly higher (up to 80mg/l). This means that the Drink Mix is now more reliable and predictable. It is also thinner, making it easier to consume at high training intensities.
The new formula now uses a small amount of sodium carbonate to protect your tooth enamel by maintaining a neutral pH.
This trial pack contains Drink Mix 160/320 and Gel 100 with/without caffeine. All Maurten products are made with hydrogel technology and consist of natural ingredients. The hydrogel is particularly well tolerated because it encapsulates carbohydrates and salts and enables the nutrients to be transported quickly to the intestine, where they are finally absorbed. The drink mix is prepared with 500 ml of water. The gel sachets are ready for immediate consumption.

Of course, the tasting package would not be complete without the Maurten Tacx Shiva drinking bottle. This bottle not only impresses with its attractive design, but also with practical instructions for the perfect preparation of the Maurten Drink Mix on the side. The drinking bottle, with a capacity of 500 ml, is made of PP and PE plastic and has a push-pull valve and is suitable for all common standard bottle holders.
