The new magped SPORT2 safety pedal is the pedal innovation for mountain and e-bikes. The revised version of the SPORT AL not only shines with its higher stability and lower weight, it also has a lot to offer in terms of color compared to its predecessor. Various color options now allow you to individually adapt to the color concept of your bike.
The use of the patented magnetic mechanism enables you to detach your foot from the pedal safely, quickly and easily at any time. The risk of falling and injury is reduced to an absolute minimum compared to pedals with fixed connections (e.g. clipless pedal system) - and the head remains free for enjoyable biking without fear.
The magped SPORT2 pedal with 150N magnet is recommended for sporty bikers and people from 65 to 90 kg.
Round step
The magped pedal enables a round step, as both the muscle extensors (70%) and the muscle flexors (30%) of the leg muscles are evenly used. This makes longer bike tours a real pleasure.
Weight
The magped pedal is a modern and high quality flat pedal made of lightweight CNC machined aluminum and a CrMo spindle. Despite the additional magnet system, all magped pedals are no heavier than comparable high-end pedals.
position
The pedal allows the shoe to be turned slightly and thus protects the joints when pedaling. The position can also be varied forwards and backwards without changing the pulling force, making it easy to find the ideal position for both ascent and descent.
traction
Depending on the selected magnetic strength, the shoe is held magnetically on the pedal with a pulling force of up to 20 kg. The pulling force acts mainly vertically and a lateral detachment from the pedal is possible with almost no noticeable resistance. But quick and easy removal in critical situations straight up is no problem either.
Cleat
The cleat made of rust-treated special steel can be mounted on any SPD-compatible cycling shoe with 2 screws in a few minutes. In contrast to other systems, dirt is not a problem for the magped. In addition, the risk of tripping while walking is reduced and walking comfort is greatly improved.

The magped pedal is equipped with 3 high quality, sealed industrial ball bearings. The pins of the pedal can be changed if necessary. The height of the neodymium high-performance magnet is adjustable via a special integrated polymer suspension.
