LEONARDI RACING Chainring GECKO TRACK oval Direct Mount for Shimano 12 Crank
Lightweight and stiff Direct Mount chainring by Leonardi Racing. Direct mount chainrings provide optimal setup for Shimano 12-speed drives. These chainrings are screwed directly to the crank arm and thus save compared to conventional spider / chainring combination a lot of weight and are also much more torsionally rigid. The used 7075 T6 aluminum alloy additionally ensures low wear. Special teeth in Narrow Wide Design effectively prevent the chain from jumping off. The principle follows that of the SRAM XX1 chainrings.
Ovalization of the chainring enhances performance through powertrain variation and drag optimization. When pedaling with the legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are reconciled. Thus, a better use of the stronger muscle groups is achieved and in the weaker muscles a balance in the working path (lower stroke) created.
NOTE: The chainring only works in conjunction with Shimano 12-speed chains.
