In Greek mythology, the word Kolossos stands for a statue that is many times larger than the original. If you take a look at Kogel's oversized rear derailleur cage, the name seems very apt. To beat the wind, the derailleur pulleys with 12 and 19 teeth are concealed behind an aerodynamically optimized aluminium casing on the aero version.In addition to reduced friction, the focus during development was on perfect shifting precision and rigidity of the system. The cage is suitable for Shimano Dura Ace 9100/9200 and Ultegra 8000/8100 rear derailleurs.
IMPORTANT: When traveling, please remember to remove the complete rear derailleur with an Allen key, as very few bicycle transport bags offer sufficient space for such large rear derailleur cages.
