CGX-SL is a brake cable outer shell made of wound high-carbon steel with slick-lube liner. The latter was incorporated over the entire length in the outer shell and reduced by a special lubricating film, the friction of the inner cable noticeably. The result is a sturdy outer shell with extremely low compression and long life.
