The Isadore brand was founded in 2013 by twin brothers Martin Velits and Peter Velits in Slovakia. Both were successful professional cyclists for many years and rode the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana several times, where Peter achieved a stage win (2008) and 3rd place (2010), among others. With Isadore, they transferred their experience from professional sport to the development of high-quality cycling clothing. Martin is responsible for product development, while Peter is in charge of operations. Since the end of their professional careers in 2016, they have focused entirely on the brand.
Isadore stands for the combination of performance, sustainability and contemporary design. In 2019, the brand set an important milestone in the field of sustainable cycling clothing with a jersey made from 100% recycled materials.
The Signature Jersey was developed for intensive rides and warm days and combines technical materials with a clean look. The high-quality, Italian performance fabric with a high nylon content ensures elasticity, durability and a pleasantly light feel. The light compression supports the muscles and offers stability with every movement. Strategically placed mesh inserts improve air circulation and effectively transport moisture to the outside. The athletic cut with medium compression fits close to the body without constricting. This means the jersey stays in place even during intense exertion while offering full freedom of movement. Practical details such as three back pockets, an additional zippered pocket and a non-slip silicone hem round off the functional design.
