The Isadore brand was founded in 2013 by twin brothers Martin Velits and Peter Velits in Slovakia. Both were successful professional cyclists for many years and rode the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana several times, where Peter achieved a stage win (2008) and 3rd place (2010), among others. With Isadore, they transferred their experience from professional sport to the development of high-quality cycling clothing. Martin is responsible for product development, while Peter is in charge of operations. Since the end of their professional careers in 2016, they have focused entirely on the brand.
Isadore stands for the combination of performance, sustainability and contemporary design. In 2019, the brand set an important milestone in the field of sustainable cycling clothing with a jersey made from 100% recycled materials.
The Alternative Jersey is an ultra-lightweight performance jersey for intensive summer rides. Developed for high temperatures and fast sessions, it combines maximum breathability with an aerodynamic fit. Three different mesh materials ensure excellent ventilation, efficient moisture transport and a pleasantly cool feel, even at high intensity. The compressive cut supports the muscles, while the elastic fit perfectly balances stability and freedom of movement. Well thought-out details such as flat seams, a siliconized hem and easily accessible back pockets make the jersey a functional companion on long rides. At the same time, the design is based on recycled materials and thus combines performance with a sustainable approach.
