The Isadore brand was founded in 2013 by twin brothers Martin Velits and Peter Velits in Slovakia. Both were successful professional cyclists for many years and rode the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana several times, where Peter achieved a stage win (2008) and 3rd place (2010), among others. With Isadore, they transferred their experience from professional sport to the development of high-quality cycling clothing. Martin is responsible for product development, while Peter is in charge of operations. Since the end of their professional careers in 2016, they have focused entirely on the brand.
Isadore stands for the combination of performance, sustainability and contemporary design. In 2019, the brand set an important milestone in the field of sustainable cycling clothing with a jersey made from 100% recycled materials.
Especially in the transitional seasons, temperatures fluctuate quite dramatically throughout the day. The Isadore wind jacket is just what you need. Slip it on at the start of your tour early in the morning and you are well protected from the cold wind. When it gets warmer, it scores points with its low weight and small pack size and disappears inconspicuously into your jersey pocket.
The perfectly processed, high-density fabric is guaranteed not to let the wind get to your body and prevents dangerous cooling.The material also blocks harmful UV rays so that your skin is not damaged even on sunny rides in the cool high mountains, yet it is highly breathable and quickly wicks away unwanted moisture. Ventilation can be further improved by the high-quality YKK® zipper.
The jacket has a very sporty cut, which means the fabric fits snugly and does not flap. Nevertheless, it is very elastic and always guarantees sufficient freedom of movement. In addition, the lower hem with its silicone prints always keeps the jacket in the right position.
Isadore recommends the jacket for temperatures between 8 and 20 °C.
