The Isadore brand was founded in 2013 by twin brothers Martin Velits and Peter Velits in Slovakia. Both were successful professional cyclists for many years and rode the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana several times, where Peter achieved a stage win (2008) and 3rd place (2010), among others. With Isadore, they transferred their experience from professional sport to the development of high-quality cycling clothing. Martin is responsible for product development, while Peter is in charge of operations. Since the end of their professional careers in 2016, they have focused entirely on the brand.
Isadore stands for the combination of performance, sustainability and contemporary design. In 2019, the brand set an important milestone in the field of sustainable cycling clothing with a jersey made from 100% recycled materials.
The Debut Merino Air is a lightweight, breathable jersey made from merino wool and is ideal for hot summer days. Thanks to the merino wool, overheating is prevented and perspiration is reliably transported to the outside. The material also has an odour-inhibiting effect, meaning that the jersey stays fresh for longer even after long rides and does not need to be washed as often. It is comfortable against the skin and always stays in place thanks to the silicone finish, while three back pockets offer plenty of space for snacks, small valuables or your multitool.
