The Syntax Mips combines a touch of European flair with slightly higher coverage and powerful features - all in a very sleek design. The fit is luxurious and secure, thanks to the versatile customizable Roc Loc 5 Air Mips system, which allows you to tailor the fit and feel for great stability and long-distance comfort, while providing extra protection from rotational forces in the event of an angled impact. The outer shell is molded from a tough polycarbonate that has been permanently fused to the EPS foam liner in Giro's In-Mold construction process to improve durability and ventilation without adding excessive bulk.

INTEGRATED MIPS® BRAIN PROTECTION SYSTEM

Giro believes that helmets with this technology can reduce the rotational force that can be transmitted to the rider's brain in certain impacts.
ROC LOC® 5 AIR MIPS FIT SYSTEM
This revolutionary fit system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by improving cooling as well as fit, comfort and stability. With a patented design that allows the helmet to float slightly above your head, Roc Loc 5 Air Mips allows cool air to flow directly over your head. This optimizes the performance of the vents and internal channels that dissipate heat from the helmet. The customization options for fit and feel are similar to those of the Roc Loc 5 Mips. You can customize the fit tension and forward and backward tilt in seconds with just one hand.
WIND TUNNEL™ VENTILATION
Giro helmets are equipped with the proprietary Wind Tunnel™ ventilation system. This ingenious design combines active vents in the helmet shell with exhaust ducts inside the helmet that move cool, fresh air over and around the rider's head while moving heat and stale air to the outside.
