SPATZWEAR overshoes Tufr2 | black

The Tufr2 overshoe from Spatzwear has been specially optimized for wet, cold and off-road use. It has been completely redesigned for maximum protection, high wearing comfort and impressive durability. The more elastic, nylon-coated neoprene now adapts better to the foot and, together with close-fitting silicone strips on the sole and shaft, ensures an effective seal. A new zipper on the calf-high shaft makes it easier to put on and take off, while a zipper garage prevents annoying rattling noises. The reinforced, vulcanized forefoot section provides reliable protection against water, mud and cold. It is more robust than before and now covers the entire forefoot including the sole. The tried-and-tested Kevlar trim offers additional abrasion protection, while the thicker neoprene in the foot area ensures warmth and waterproofness. Wide silicone strips at the openings prevent water from penetrating and keep the overshoe securely in place. The Tufr2 is an indispensable accessory for gravel and mountain bike tours in fall and winter. It combines reliable protection with off-road functionality and offers maximum comfort and robustness.

Spatzwear recommends these overshoes for the temperature range of -2-7°C.

Note: The overshoes are designed for normal MTB cycling shoes, not winter shoes! If in doubt, choose one size larger.

Spatzwear is the result of countless cold, wet miles in the Yorkshire Dales and the brainchild of Tom Barras, a professional cyclist. After longing for a solution to cold, wet feet while cycling, he developed the first prototypes at the dinner table in 2006. It wasn't until 2016, after a meeting on an icy bike ride with a triathlete in Yorkshire, that the Spatz prototypes were further developed and became a game changer in terms of overshoe systems and functional clothing.
