The Garbaruk crank with Inpeak power meter is one of the lightest power meter cranks on the market. The two-piece design of the crank arms milled from 7075-T6 aluminum has reduced the weight without compromising on stiffness. This design also makes it possible to adapt the crank precisely to your bike, both technically and visually. To install the crankset, all you need is a 12 mm, a 2 mm Allen key and a Shimano Hollowtech II tool (TL-FC33 bottom bracket assembly SM-BB93). Garbaruk recommends a torque of 50 Nm for mounting the crank arms and a torque of 35 Nm for mounting the chainring. The crank arms can be easily removed using the integrated crank arm puller and a standard bottom bracket wrench for cartridge bearings.
The power meter from the Polish manufacturer Inpeak integrated in the left crank arm offers you the highest possible measuring accuracy and weighs just 10 grams. Data is transmitted via ANT+ or Bluetooth. The measuring unit is classified in the IP67 protection class to provide optimum protection against water ingress, even in extreme weather conditions. In a range from -5°C to +50°C, the automatic temperature compensation ensures precise and accurate values with a maximum measurement deviation of +-2%. In addition to pedaled power, the power meter crank also measures your cadence, pedal smoothness and torque effectiveness. With the help of acceleration sensors and special algorithms, the power meter can also minimize the effects on the measured values in the event of strong vibrations during off-road use or in poor road conditions.
