Garbaruk is a company from Ukraine, which has its roots in motorsport.
The design and manufacture of tuning parts for engines and chassis were part of Garbaruk's passion. Today, the Garbaruk brothers, who are enthusiastic about cycling, use the experience and knowledge they have gained in the production of bicycle parts. All steps from design and production to surface finishing take place under one roof.
7075-T6 aluminum from Germany is the raw material from which Garbaruk's chainrings are painstakingly CNC-milled. The chainrings have some features that differ from the competition.
narrow-wide teeth
In order to keep the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile made up of alternating narrow and wide teeth. So that this is also the case under very rough and rough conditions, the teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are made approx. 40% longer than normal teeth. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped in such a way that the chain ring works very well even in muddy conditions. Dirt and mud are effectively removed as the chain overflows.
We recommend using a rear derailleur with increased cage tension (SRAM AXS, Shimano Shadow+), which reliably holds the chain in position and prevents the chain from jumping off.
oval shape
The ovalization of the chainring increases performance by varying the drive train and optimizing resistance. When kicking with the legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are brought into line. This achieves better use of the stronger muscle groups and creates a balance in the weaker muscles on the way to work (less stroke).
VCLT (Variable ChainLine Technology)
Garbaruk works with chainrings with a changing chain line line that depends on the number of teeth. A fixed chain line line is common with other manufacturers, but it must be chosen in such a way that even larger chainrings do not touch the chainstay. The smaller the Garbaruk chainring, the closer it is possible to place it on the chainstay. The chain line is thus even more optimal, since the chainring is aligned almost in the middle of the cassette.
