The Fox 36 Performance is a state-of-the-art suspension fork that has been specially developed for use on tough trails. It combines an extremely low weight with first-class performance, making it the perfect choice for your dream bike. At approx. 1800g, it is the lightest fork in the 36 series. The optimized casting impresses with a high level of stiffness and thanks to the increased distance between the bushings, you don't have to worry about any loss of response under load.

Casting
The new triple clamp developed by FOX engineers for the 36 SL improves torsional stiffness by 20%. Targeted cut-outs have made it possible to save weight without compromising the stability of the fork tubes.

GRIP damping
Grip technology offers a user-friendly way of adjusting the damping to the rider's personal needs without too many complex adjustments. Compared to other damping systems, the Grip damper is less susceptible to wear and can usually be serviced without much effort.

Float Evol Air Spring
The Float EVOL (short for Extra Volume) air spring is a special technology from Fox that is used in forks and shocks to improve response and spring characteristics

Lower leg channels and bleeders
The optional retrofit bleed valves allow pressure equalization and, with the volume of the bypass channels, help to reduce the pressure increase within the fork and thus improve the response to small bumps, while the circulation of the oil optimally lubricates the bushings and seals. A new positioning of the bypass channels, which have moved from the rear to the inside, also reduces the torsion of the casting. The bleed valves have been redesigned and are somewhat more delicate overall, but are easier to operate thanks to the enlarged pusher. NOTE: the fork is supplied with dummy plugs instead of the valves.

Air Volume Spacers
The FLOAT air spring can be fine-tuned by using volume spacers to make your suspension element more progressive or linear.
