It has long been known that the Italians around Extralite create small CNC works of art. Their extravagant design stands out from the crowd and is an eye-catcher on any bike.
With the next evolutionary stage of the Cyberhubs, they have once again outdone themselves. The one-piece hub body is CNC-milled from high-strength 7075TX aluminum at great expense. This rotates around a lightweight aluminum axle, tapered to 14 mm in the middle, with double-sealed deep groove ball bearings. The axial play can also be finely adjusted in future using the micro-tuner.
The spoke mounts have been significantly modified. These are now closer to the hub body, but still use the straight-pull version to minimize susceptibility to punctures. The holes have been enlarged and rounded to a diameter of 2.8 mm and can accommodate not only conventional stainless steel spokes but also carbon or even textile fiber versions. This means you are already equipped for the future. In addition, the coordinated geometry of the hub flange ensures an optimum spoke angle and can also withstand high spoke tensions. This guarantees you a very stiff and durable wheel.
All these features, together with the excellent workmanship, result in a 61 gram lightweight hub that will amaze the technology-loving road cyclist.
