E*THIRTEEN Helix Race Carbon crank 73 mm | black

The Helix Race Carbon crank is robust enough for all-mountain tours and light enough for cross-country races. The crank arms are made of carbon - so the crank weighs just 366 g (170 mm crank length). The 30 mm crankshaft made of 7075-T7 aluminium also ensures a rigid connection between the two crank arms. It also impresses with its elegant, discreet design. With the tool-free APS system for adjusting the bearing play and the P9 Connect system, crank assembly and disassembly is quick and easy. The cranks use an 8-hole chainring mount, while the Helix Race 8-hole chainring has a unique four-hole locking mechanism. This means you only need 4 bolts and can also reduce the weight. The whole thing is rounded off by the plastic crank shoes, which further improve the durability of the robust carbon crank.

APS Adjuster
Adaptive Preload System refers to the tool-free adjustment system for the e*thirteen cranks, with which you can adjust the lateral bearing play. This system simplifies crank assembly enormously and makes assembly errors virtually impossible.

P3 Connect
The P3 Connect system was developed on the basis of the P3 Polygon Standard from 1937. The contact surface between the 30 mm oversized shaft and the crank arm ensures an extremely rigid connection.
