EFFETTO MARIPOSA Caffelatex sealant 250 ml

Caffélatex is used as a preventative sealant. Instead of using a tube, the tire (whether UST or conventional!) is simply filled with 50-100 ml of sealing milk. The milk seals the tire and closes punctures automatically. The susceptibility to punctures is reduced, as is the rolling resistance.
The sealing milk foams up while riding and thus constantly wets the sidewalls of the tire. Holes in the carcass can also be sealed quickly in this way.

Dugast recommends Caffélatex for its tubular tires with latex tubes. Many sealants attack latex tubes and do not achieve any sealing effect with punctured latex tubes. However, Caffélatex also seals these tubes or tubular tires with sewn-in latex tubes!
