DT Swiss rim 29" XM 421

DT Swiss has stood for innovative products of the highest quality for years. Starting out as a manufacturer of high-quality spokes, the company has continuously expanded its product range. Since 2004, the Swiss have also had rims in their range, which they are constantly improving through feedback from cycling professionals and taking into account new developments in materials and manufacturing. Today, DT Swiss rims are among the most driven on the market.

With its robust design, the XM 421 29" rim covers a wide range of uses. At 465 grams, it is light enough for cross-country use, with an inner width of 25.0 millimeters wide enough for AllMountain and Enduro use. Thanks to complex FEM analyses there is only as much material as needed at each point on the aluminum rim. It is connected using the SBWT® welding process. The rim is stabilized with a small block during welding and then CNC machined to guarantee a seamless transition. Convinced by the robustness, DT Swiss releases the rim up to a system weight of 120 kilograms. Like all DT Swiss rims in the current range, the XM 421 29" is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. All you need is a suitable tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealing milk. The rim comes with matching DT Squorx Pro Head® nipples and PHR washers. The washers are mounted between the nipple and the rim to ensure an optimal fit of the nipple and thus protect the sensitive spoke ends.
