If you really want to let it rip on enduro or freeride, the FR 541 rim is a good basis for a durable wheel. During development, particular attention was paid to impact resistance and the prevention of abrupt air loss. The almost triangular and angular cross-section, together with the reinforced rim base, can withstand even the hardest of impacts. Nevertheless, the weight is within an acceptable range. In addition, the robust rim flange ensures a 17% increase in plate resistance compared to the FR 560 predecessor rim. The enormous inner width also provides the tire with perfect support, which prevents it from buckling in fast bends and ensures greater riding stability. The typical DT Swiss high-quality workmanship and the welded rim joint guarantee the rim a long service life. In addition, the shot-peened surface largely prevents stone chips, so that it appears as good as new even after many descents.

Note
The rim requires the use of the enclosed PHR washers. DT Swiss also recommends installing the Pro Lock brass nipples included in the scope of delivery.
