With the E 1900 series, DT-SWISS offers you extremely reliable wheels at a low price. Built around the new DT-Swiss 370 hubs with robust aluminum rims, the new generation of E 1900 wheels is even more resistant and durable, despite a slight weight reduction compared to the previous versions.

DT Swiss 370 hubs
For even greater reliability, the 370 hubs have been upgraded to the DT-SWISS Ratchet System. The only difference between the Ratchet-LN ratchet freehub and the tried and tested Ratchet System is the different position of the sealing ring. Due to the more extensive power transmission via 18 teeth, the system can transmit significantly greater forces than a ratchet freehub and is less susceptible to wear.

E 532 rim
The E 532 rim is the little sister of the EX 511. Thanks to the use of first-class materials and years of experience, the rim is extremely robust at a low weight. This has been proven in various stress tests in the test laboratory as well as in field tests. In contrast to the high-end aluminum rims from DT-Swiss, the rim ring is joined using the sleeve-joint method. The rim profile is of course designed for tubeless use and is supplied with tubeless tape and a suitable tubeless valve.

DT Swiss Champion Straightpull spokes
The Spline wheels are built exclusively with straight-pull spokes. This ensures a very high level of stiffness in the wheel and, by eliminating the sensitive spoke bend, a very high level of durability.

Pro Lock technology
In the Pro Lock process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread and enables the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and hardens completely at room temperature after approx. 6 - 7 hours. Multiple re-centering is still possible without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly with each re-centering.
