Support from electric motors has even found its way into racing bikes. The HE 1800 Spline front wheel is designed precisely for the higher loads.
Even the stable rim inspires a lot of confidence. Excellent workmanship, it can accommodate tires up to a width of 64 mm thanks to its enormous inner width of 22 mm. This generates more comfort and better grip. Of course, it is tubeless-capable, which significantly reduces the susceptibility to punctures. In addition, the 23 mm rim height ensures good aerodynamic values on faster sections.
In the center is the reliable DT Swiss 370 hybrid hub with a modern spline design. Their high rigidity leads to direct and precise steering behavior. The smooth-running and perfectly sealed bearings guarantee a long service life and low maintenance.
The connection between the hub and the rim is made by the DT Swiss Aero Comp Straightpull Hybrid spokes. These have been strengthened, but still offer little resistance to the wind. The Pro Lock® Squorx Pro Head® nipples also contribute to the high stability. They contain a two-component adhesive that prevents unintentional loosening after centering.
All these optimizations allow DT Swiss to increase the maximum system weight to 130 kg. This allows even slightly heavier riders to feel safe at all times on fast descents.
With the HE 1800 you get a robust front wheel, which, in addition to a discreet look, also has an excellent price-performance ratio.
