CYCLUS TOOLS Control gauge for derailleur hanger

A bent derailleur hanger is the cause of most shifting problems. The CYCLUS TOOLS control gauge for checking and aligning provides a quick and precise remedy.

Application:
- Mount a rear wheel in the frame and remove the rear derailleur if necessary
- Remove the nut from the threaded spindle of the gauge, screw the tool into the derailleur hanger as far as it will go and counter with the nut
- Now check the even distance to the rim at several points on the wheel circumference (measuring pin)
- If you notice any differences, the derailleur hanger must be adjusted accordingly
