"A clean chain for everyone" is the motto of the still young company CYCLOWAX. The YBN chain is pre-waxed and has a long service life thanks to the Chromium Carbide Surface Hardened Treatment. The chain generates little friction, runs quietly and attracts less dirt thanks to its smooth surface. In addition, the plates have been specially treated to ensure a clean and fast shifting process. The wax forms a transparent, smooth coating and keeps the chain clean while increasing the service life of your drivetrain. This not only saves money, but also protects the environment. Unlike conventional chain lubricants, which are often based on fossil oils, waxes are biodegradable and less harmful to the environment. To maintain a smooth and silky-smooth running drive, the chain should be re-waxed every 250 km. Re-waxing is also recommended after wet rides.

Note: Check your chain regularly with a chain tester and replace it as soon as the wear limit of 0.5 percent is reached. The Cyclowax-Heater device is required to re-wax the chain.
