Double VectranBreaker
Higher puncture resistance and lower weight are the advantages of the Vectran breaker. Vectran is more cut-resistant than aramid, 5 times more tensile than steel and lighter than a nylon thread, without affecting rolling resistance. This makes it the ideal protective layer for the tire. The Double Vectran Breaker tires have a double Vectran protective layer for even more safety.
Vectran was developed for airbag systems in the automotive and aerospace industries.
DuraSkin
Tires with DuraSkin® sidewall protection have to be able to take a beating. They are used in the most adverse conditions. On messenger bikes, the tires slide along curbs, on touring bikes they cross continents without wearing through, in racing they have to pass endurance tests such as Paris-Roubaix. The high-quality polyamide fabric reliably protects the sidewall of the tire and prepares it for the toughest conditions. These tires stand out from the crowd thanks to their brown sidewall.
