CAMPAGNOLO Ekar Ergopower switching | 13-speed brake lever including flat mount brake caliper at the rear

For the Ekar group, Campagnolo made numerous detail-oriented changes to the proven Ergopower shift/brake lever. The most noticeable change is the reshaped inner shifter, which has a larger C-shape that's easier to reach with your thumb in the STI grip position. To increase control in off-road use, the aluminum brake levers have a lasered finish with a special surface that improves grip in all weather conditions. For optimal ergonomics, the grip width can be adjusted to the size of the hand. In addition, the Vari-Cushion Hoods offer a comfortable and secure grip position. When it comes to shifting logic, Campagnolo continues to rely on the proven Ultra Shift system, which has been upgraded to 13 times. When shifting up, up to 3 gears can be bridged with one shift movement. In contrast to the Road version, only one gear can be shifted at a time when shifting to a faster gear, in order to prevent accidental shifting in rough terrain.
The newly designed Ekar brake calipers, which work just like the Campagnolo Road brake calipers with mineral oil as the braking medium, ensure optimal braking performance. The tried and tested, organic DB310 pads are also used for the Ekar brake calipers. These have a carrier plate with vibration compensation, which can reduce brake vibrations and the annoying squeaking associated with them.

NOTE: The set is delivered without brake disc, adapter and flat mount fastening screws.
