The THE Flatbar E-Version forms the intelligent basis for your steering center. With E-MTBs, the handlebars are subject to higher clamping requirements because, in addition to an additional control unit, a central display is also partially installed. Furthermore, the load on the clamping zone and the handlebar ends is maximized, which is due to stronger load changes due to the driving dynamics. In addition, the reinforcement has a protective effect if the e-bike is put down roughly.

NSA technology
In order to be able to reduce the clamping forces to a minimum and thereby drastically reduce the notch effect, Bike Ahead Composites developed the NSA technology (NoSlipApplication). A rubber layer is laminated in the area of the clamp. This not only has the advantage that the torques can be reduced to a minimum. Crackling and creaking noises are a thing of the past.
