From the tranquil town of Renningen, in the green state of Baden Württemberg, straight to your bike! Behind Acros is a group of passionate cyclists and engineers. Their motto: ride more, worry less.
The Acros team wanted their own stable yet lightweight carbon handlebars for their trail bikes. For the implementation, they sought support from the carbon specialists at all ahead composites. The result is impressive! The handlebars, handmade in Germany, are a real gem. The "in-mold stack-up" process used enables a structure that is adapted to the load. In this process, the individual carbon mats are placed layer by layer in a negative mold according to a fixed plan. The upper and lower parts of the handlebars are particularly stable thanks to unidirectional reinforcements. This allows the wall thickness of the handlebar ends to be reduced, which lowers the weight and increases the flex. The whole thing is combined with a 35 mm handlebar clamp. The result is not least the golden seal "Multiload MTB", this test procedure of the independent institute Zedler is known in the industry as an absolute endurance test.
Note: Please use the enclosed carbon paste during assembly and observe the recommended torques. The clamping surface of the stem must not be wider than 60 mm. Please follow the assembly instructions!
