ABUS launched the first bicycle lock back in 1931. What began with a simple iron chain lock, ABUS continued to develop further, always with the aim of providing all-round security for your bike wherever you are. Today, ABUS is one of the largest manufacturers of bicycle locks and security systems.
The Bordo One 6000A folding lock combines high-quality materials with modern technology to protect against thieves. The 5 mm thick hardened steel bars and integrated special rivets ensure security, while the alarm function detects vibrations and the smallest movements in all three dimensions. At 100 dB, the alarm sound does not fail to have a deterrent effect. There is no need for a key at all. The lock can be conveniently operated using a smartphone via Bluetooth. The integrated battery, which can be recharged via USB-C, provides the power supply. Protected from wind and weather as well as prying eyes, the connection is hidden under the rubber casing of the lock body. The lock achieves a full 10 out of 15 points on the ABUS security scale. Thieves will have their work cut out for them for a long time.
A suitable holder for secure transportation on the bike is also included. Thanks to the practical tensioning straps, this can be mounted anywhere on the frame or at the attachment points for bottle cages.
