The brake caliper from 612 Parts should definitely be on your radar. With a massive and angular look reminiscent of stealth technology, this lightweight is definitely an eye-catcher for connoisseurs.
You can use this brake calliper for everything from flying low over the tarmac, through rapid bends and waves on gravel and in the forest, to rough trails with small flying sections on your XC mountain bike.
The quality of the brake caliper manufactured in Germany is enormous. Every unnecessary gram is removed and a fine, precise look is created using the CNC milling machine at Chiemsee. The result is an amazingly eye-catching brake that is still as inconspicuous as you would expect from stealth technology. At just 82 g for the flatmount caliper and 85 g for the postmount caliper, the caliper meets the demand for performance and precision.
You can upgrade any 2-piston brake system with a piston diameter of 21 mm or 22 mm with this caliper - usually Shimano or SRAM brakes. This primarily applies to road bikes and gravel systems, i.e. the 105, Ultegra and Dura-Ace or the GRX from Shimano and the Rival, Force and Red from SRAM, including their gravel variants.
The brake is available as a flatmount and postmount version as well as a mineral oil and DOT version. You will need the Kevlar brake hose from 612 Parts or the Shimano BH90 hose; other hoses are not compatible.
You are completely free to choose between mineral oil or DOT for the remaining components (brake lever).
NOTE: Please note the installation instructions in the appendix! If you do not have the necessary specialist knowledge or tools for correct installation, the installation must be carried out by a specialist workshop with the appropriate knowledge.
