How to return items from non-EU countries
Customs declaration
In the case of international shipments, corresponding customs declarations are always provided by the shipping service provider together with the shipping label. A customs declaration almost always has the same content. Of course, they may differ visually from company to company. We have marked the mandatory parts. These must be filled in correctly.
International returns from non-EU countries must be declared correctly for customs clearance in the destination country. If the information is incomplete, customs cannot process the return properly. In the worst case, the shipment will be returned to the sender. Please note that the return shipment must be made from the same country as the original country of delivery of the order.
In our guide we explain how to declare your return correctly so that customs clearance can go smoothly.
Customs requires the following documents for processing in the destination country:
- customs declaration of contents (often referred to as CN22 or CN23 form)
- original invoice
