The ceramic balls used by Cyclingceramic are made from high-quality grade 3 silicon nitride. Compared to conventional steel balls, they are 58% harder, 12% harder and 68% stiffer. In addition, the roundness is 75% higher. The outstanding properties of the ceramic balls not only reduce frictional resistance to a minimum, they also make the bearings more durable. At Cyclingceramic, each ball is precisely inserted by hand into the hardened steel raceways manufactured in Switzerland.
