As usual with Tune, the new Nano CL hubs are CNC-milled from 7075 aluminum. The special feature of the front hub is a new hub flange that does not require a carbon ring. The symmetrical design ensures optimum balance of the front wheel. The POEtry69 freehub mechanism keeps play to a minimum when starting off, so that direct power transmission is possible. The straightpull lacing makes it possible to create an extremely stiff wheel and the tensile forces of the spokes are transmitted in a material-appropriate manner. In addition, the absence of the spoke bend eliminates the weak point of the spokes and guarantees a durable wheelset.
Like all Tune hubs, the Nano CL is produced, milled and assembled entirely in the Black Forest.
