THM CARBONES Stem Tibia Carbon 31.8 mm 6° | Integrated Cable Routing for D-Shaped Forks
Light, stiff and with excellent damping properties, this is THM's latest development. The Tibia stem sets new standards in carbon processing. Extremely low weight and with a streamlined shape inspired by nature, this stem offers an optimal aerodynamic connection between the handlebars and the bike. Since the stem is manufactured to a very high quality, it can do without unnecessary paint. It is simply polished to get an even more elegant surface finish. This measure also saves a few grams.
New approaches are also being taken in clamping. This consists mainly of titanium and aluminum in order to save unnecessary weight and still achieve the best clamping properties. For a tidy cockpit, the brake lines of electronic shift/brake levers can be routed through the stem (not enough space for additional mechanical shift cables). In addition to the version with the cable outlet on the steerer clamp for use with D-shaped forks, you will also find a version with a cable outlet on the underside of the stem in our shop for cable routing through the headset.
