The 5th generation of the Syntace rear hub is primarily aimed at gravel and road bikes due to its low weight, but the weight reduction has not been made at the expense of durability. Extra large precision deep groove ball bearings with an increased special grease filling and the specially developed Dura-Seal sealing caps ensure perfect corrosion protection and outstanding durability. The 17 mm oversize axle ensures maximum rigidity.The super-wide ball bearing support of the SRAM XDR freehub body ensures increased shifting precision, while the infinitely adjustable MicroAdjust adjustment cap allows the axial hub play to be set quickly and easily.
The 5th generation Syntace toothed pulley freehub has gearing with 24 engagement points. Due to the smaller number of engagement points, the teeth can be made larger, which significantly increases the durability of the pulleys.
