STYRKR [stir-kuh] means strength in Old Norse. The company has its roots in England and has been the passion project of Christian Sanderson since 2018. The idea arose from a personal need for a functional product for endurance sports. Christian, himself a cyclist, was unable to find a suitable product that would provide reliable energy, be well tolerated and also work during prolonged exercise. He then worked with professional sports nutritionists to develop products with a clear focus on helping everyday athletes achieve their next endurance goal. They also focus on natural ingredients.
This sample pack contains BAR50 energy bars, MIX90 drink powder, GEL50 energy gels, SLT07 effervescent tablets and a water bottle.
All Styrkr GEL and MIX products are based on the Plasma Tech process. During intense physical activity, carbohydrates are the body's main source of energy. When they come from multiple sources, more carbohydrates can be absorbed per hour. Therefore, the gels and drink mixes contain two transportable carbohydrates, maltodextrin and fructose (in a ratio of 1:08). This improves the exogenous carbohydrate oxidation rate and causes less intestinal discomfort.
The MIX90 Dual-Carb drink powder provides 90g of carbohydrates for maximum energy and contains electrolytes to keep you constantly hydrated. L-Glutamine is also used to combat fatigue and improve performance. The gels have a new, improved natural taste and provide 50g of carbohydrates for maximum energy.
The SLT07 effervescent tablets ensure rapid rehydration and counteract muscle cramps. They quickly replace electrolytes lost in sweat, have a high bioavailability and high absorption rate. Boost your performance with the new Hypotonic 1000 formula with 1000mg sodium. It also contains 100mg of potassium, 25mg of magnesium and 15mg of calcium, making it the perfect hypotonic blend.
