This ensures reliable shifting in all conditions and the newly designed shift/brake levers offer you effortless and powerful braking. Personalization, firmware updates and the integration of AXS power meters can be carried out conveniently via the SRAM AXS app.
CrankThe most advanced aluminum road bike crank from SRAM not only impresses technically, but also visually. Thanks to its precise design, the stiffness-to-weight ratio has been optimized. Material is only used where it is really needed. As a result, over 50 grams of weight have been saved on the crank system. The 2-speed chainring unit is manufactured in one piece and its high rigidity ensures fast and precise shifting. The integration of the spider also reduces weight. The chainring kit is attached directly to the 8-bolt direct mount of the crank. Thanks to the small 13-tooth X-Range gear steps between the chainrings, you can stay on the large chainring for longer in combination with the X-Range 12-speed cassettes and therefore have to shift less frequently with the derailleur. Equipped with the proven DUB crankshaft, the Rival crank is compatible with all standard bottom bracket shells with the matching DUB bottom bracket. With the power meter integrated into the crankshaft, you can get the most out of your training.

AXS HRD shift-brake systemBraking with just one finger? The SRAM Rival shifters make it possible. Thanks to stiffer brake calipers and the newly designed shift/brake levers with optimized pivot point, you can generate more braking power in all handlebar positions with significantly less hand force. Thanks to their ergonomic design and grip width adjustment, the shifters are comfortable to use for a wide range of hand sizes. The textured main shifters work according to the proven eTap shifting logic. One rocker switch for upshifting and one rocker switch for downshifting. If both paddles are operated simultaneously, the front derailleur is shifted. The shifting behaviour can be personalized via the SRAM AXS app and additional SRAM Wireless Blip Shifters can also be integrated. Bleeding Edge technology ensures simple and clean bleeding. Thanks to the slim design and the carbon brake levers, the Force AXS HRD system is significantly lighter than the previous version.
Paceline brake rotors | Center LockThe Paceline brake rotors take up the elegant design of the AXS Road groupsets. With their optimized ventilation holes, they ensure smooth and low-vibration braking performance. The rounded edges on the top of the rotor minimize the risk of injury and comply with the guidelines of the UCI cycling association. Another advantage is that they make it easier to install the wheels, as the rounded top prevents jamming in the brake calliper.
Front derailleurThe revised Rival AXS front derailleur ensures even more precise and faster shifting. Thanks to a narrower cage with an optimized shape, shifting operations on the large chainring and shifting operations under load are even more reliable than with the previous version. The front derailleur was designed for the 2x SRAM X-Range chainring gradations with a 13-tooth gap between the large and small chainrings.Equipped with the proven Yaw technology and autotrim function, the front derailleur runs smoothly in every gear combination. The force when shifting with an AXS shifter is automatically regulated over the entire shifting range. The adjustment tool included in the scope of delivery ensures perfect adjustment of the front derailleur. The electronic wireless eTap shifting logic ensures intuitive shifting processes and simple, wireless setup. With the integration of AXS technology, the shifting behaviour of the front derailleur can be personalized via the associated app. The necessary power is supplied by the proven SRAM eTap battery.
Rear derailleurThe Rival AXS rear derailleur ensures fast and reliable shifting in all conditions. Rear derailleur pulleys with X-Sync Narrow-Wide tooth profile and chain management technology keep the chain in place, even in single-speed use.The Rival AXS is compatible with cassettes from 10-28 teeth to 10-36 teeth and therefore covers an extremely wide range of applications from purebred road bikes to gravel bikes. You can configure and fine-tune the rear derailleur using your smartphone via the SRAM AXS app. An ANT+ transmitter integrated into the rear derailleur enables communication between your bike computer and the rear derailleur.This allows you to display information on the battery charge status and the current gear ratio in your cockpit.
CassetteNo matter what terrain you are riding on, SRAM Rival has the right cassette option for you. All cassette options start with a 10-tooth sprocket for the widest possible range at a low weight. The sprockets are made of tool steel and have an additional nickel-chrome protective coating to ensure durability. The individual sprockets are riveted together in the proven full-pin design.
ChainWith its milled outer plates, SRAM was able to save a few grams of weight on the Rival Flat Top chain. Thanks to the hard chrome coating on the inner plates, the chain can withstand tough shifting maneuvers and has an increased service life. The chain is easily locked with the enclosed Powerlock chain lock.
Charger/batteriesThe integrated batteries on the rear derailleur and front derailleur have a range of over 1000 kilometers. The charge status can be read at any time via LED lights. The batteries for the rear derailleur and front derailleur are identical and can therefore be replaced on the move. The batteries are recharged within an hour using the charger supplied.
