With the SRAM Apex 1 you can experience a new simplicity on your road bike, gravel bike or trekking bike. And at an unbeatable price. With just one shift lever, you no longer need to worry about the right gear combination. You can simply concentrate on riding and shift through the 11 gears intuitively. In combination with the APEX 1 11-42 cassette, the 1-speed drivetrain is in no way inferior to a 2-speed drivetrain with 11-28 cassette in terms of gear range. This means that even the steepest climbs are no problem with the Apex 1 groupset.

SRAM has developed the Apex 1 flatbar shifter for gravel bikes, trekking bikes and road bikes with flatbars. Equipped with the SRAM EXACT ACTUATION shifting logic, the APEX 1 trigger shifts extremely reliably and precisely. The 1:1 ratio between shifter and rear derailleur makes it very easy to adjust the shifting.
