With a brand new light-emitting diode and the reflector newly developed by lighting technology specialists Busch and Müller, the Edelux II literally puts its five-year-old brother in the shade (30% more light).
The light field is twice as wide, even better focused in the distance and has a uniformly illuminated near field that starts close to the front wheel. Ideal both on dark paths and in road traffic (StVZO approval). The LED sits on a copper heat sink, which is screwed directly onto the headlight housing. This perfect cooling is a prerequisite for good efficiency and a high brightness of over 90 lux. The Edelux II has a very bright condenser parking light and has an automatic switch-on (sensor).
The solid housing of the aluminum headlamp ensures mechanical durability and is watertight with a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective glass pane. The magnetic switching ring enables easy switching, even when wearing gloves. The proven SON coaxial cable is used to connect to the hub dynamo.
