The Shimano SLX shift levers trigger fast gear changes with their precise mechanics. Shimano's many years of experience provide a good balance between low operating forces and pronounced lever feedback - shifting is virtually impossible.
The levers offer an 11-speed gradation and are only compatible with 11-speed Dyna-Sys11 rear derailleurs.

The brackets for attaching the shifters are designed so that they can be attached using the clamp of the SLX BL-M675 brake levers. The additional clamp normally required for the levers is completely eliminated, saving weight and space!
The levers can be freely positioned to achieve perfectly coordinated ergonomics.

Attention!
Shimano I-Spec B model year 2014 is not compatible with the predecessor I-Spec A and successor I-Spec II.

SLX, XT, XTR up to and including model year 2013 are variant A.
Deore, SLX, XT, Saint and XTR from model year 2014 are variant B.
XTR from model year 2015 and XT from model year 2016 are Variant II (XT parallel I-Spec B).
Brake lever and shift lever can only be combined with the same model variant.
