SHIMANO brake rotor Center Lock RT-CL700 | 203 mm Ice Tech

When developing the RT-CL700 brake rotor, the focus was on rapid heat dissipation and low-noise braking. And once again, the Shimano engineers have succeeded with flying colors.
Also on board is Shimano's Ice-Tech cooling technology, which ensures excellent heat dissipation on long, steep descents thanks to its three-layer sandwich construction of stainless steel flanks with an aluminum core. This reduces the temperature by around 100 °C and prevents the rotor from overheating. This guarantees consistent braking performance and modulation. In addition, thermally induced deformation is avoided and the high-quality machined surface prevents annoying squeaking. Fortunately, the weight has remained at the same low level as the previous version.
As is typical for Shimano, the rotors are suitable for Center-Lock mounts, which enable quick and easy installation, provide a secure hold and ensure a clean and compact look.
