Setting, checking and controlling the Shimano Di2 system

The Shimano wireless unit transmits gear indicator data, battery charge status and other common information to ANT+ compatible devices and also to Shimano D-Fly (such as the Shimano CM-1000 action camera). The unit is simply connected to the Shimano E-Tube system.
As an innovation, it is also possible to establish a connection with the Shimano Di2 system using Bluetooth technology, which is particularly interesting for mechanics, as they can communicate with the system and make various settings on the system. But bikers on the trail can also change certain settings themselves on the spot. Only the new internal battery (BT-DN110) or the new external battery (BM-DN100) must be installed in the Shimano Di2 system.
