SHIMANO Lithium-Ion battery for Di2 | BT-DN300 internal | E-Tube Project

The DN300 battery has the same dimensions and mounting method as its predecessor. New are the SD300 connections for the latest generation of Shimano E-Tube cables. The battery uses these to supply the front derailleur and rear derailleur of the Dura-Ache 9200 and Ultegra 8100 groupsets with power. In addition to the two connections for the front derailleur and rear derailleur, a third connection can be used for completely wired operation of the new Di2 groupsets.
The battery, which consists of two high-quality lithium-ion cells, is charged via a charging port integrated in the rear derailleur. Its cells offer a high capacity and last for around 2000 km with numerous shifting operations. The lithium-ion technology allows the battery to be used in a wide temperature range from -20 to 60°C and can therefore be used in all seasons.
