The Deore CS-M6100 cassette has become lighter than the previous version, despite the addition of the 12th sprocket. This is made possible by the Beam Spider construction, which also increases rigidity. The gradation from 10 to 51 teeth, which enables the climbing of the steepest climbs, was adopted from the top groups. The freewheel compatibility is also based on the XTR group and the Deore cassette also uses the in-house Micro-Spline standard. The Hyperglide+ tooth profiles ensure fast and precise shifting. In contrast to the higher-quality models, all the sprockets on the Deore cassette are made of steel.
