SCHMOLKE Expander SL with ahead cap and black screw

The Schmolke Expander SL replaces the usual claw nut for the headset clamp. By wedging the expander over a large area, a uniform clamping force is applied to the shaft. The violent hammering in of a claw is no longer necessary. Thus, the expander is ideally suited for sensitive carbon fork shafts. The end of the expander is a carbon ahead cap with a black aluminum screw.

The lightweight is presented in a beautiful gift box.

NOTE: Contrary to the illustration, the expander is now black and no longer red.
