It is not for nothing that this super-light expander bears this nickname. With sensitive milling skills, the CNC artists from Extralite lured a few grams of superfluous aluminum from the already very light predecessor UltraStar 3. The result is more than impressive and clearly underlines the lightweight construction ambitions of the Italians from Lodi.
This expander replaces the conventional, heavy fork claw and, despite its minimal design, provides the best hold and good stability. It is suitable for carbon and aluminum shafts and compatible with all ahead caps and M6 screws.
We recommend this expander for a steerer tube diameter of up to 24.5 mm.
