The popular oval Q-Rings chainrings for Rotor's ALDHU and VEGAST cranks. With a bolt circle of 110 millimetres and the asymmetrical 4-arm mount, the chainrings are also compatible with the current Shimano Ultegra and Dura Ace cranks.
The oval shape of the Q-Rings chainrings is designed to make optimum use of the leg muscles and thus increase your own performance! The theory behind this is based on the fact that the human leg muscles are primarily designed to stretch the leg, while bending the leg is rarely necessary and requires little effort. The corresponding muscle groups are therefore naturally so differently developed that even hard training cannot equalize the performance of the different muscle groups. With round chainrings, this difference always results in an out-of-round pedal stroke and significantly faster fatigue of the muscles pulling when pedaling. This is where the Rotor Q-Rings come in and, thanks to their oval shape, put more pressure on the pushing muscles and at the same time relieve the pulling muscles. This concept increases both sprint and endurance performance by making better use of the anatomical conditions!
The OCP system (Optimum Chainring Position) has been further refined for optimum adjustment of the oval Q-Rings. The position of the chainrings can be adjusted in 1-degree steps using a combination of different positions of the crank arms on the crankshaft and a finely graduated spider mount.
