RadoxX's special UDH derailleur hanger for protruding thru axles solves a common problem on bikes with standard UDH derailleur hanger: the 12 mm thru axle can usually not be fully screwed through on the derailleur side as it hits the original UDH bolt. In contrast, the UDH SL Long Axle derailleur hanger has an enlarged diameter in the area of the hexagonal mount, allowing the thru-axle to pass through without any problems. This function is particularly important if, for example, a suitable thru axle for FollowMe trailers or Tailfin luggage carriers is to be fitted. The scope of delivery includes a UDH bolt with a 12 mm wrench size and an SW8 hex adapter. The latter makes it easy to fit the UDH bolt using a standard 8 mm Allen key.

Made from high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum, this derailleur hanger combines maximum stability with minimum weight. This alloy is one of the most resistant aluminum materials and is also used in the aerospace industry. The T6 heat treatment process gives the material a particularly dense microstructure, which ensures optimum rigidity and at the same time guarantees controlled breaking strength, so that the derailleur hanger yields in a targeted manner in the event of an impact and reliably protects the rear derailleur and frame.

Note: The UDH bolt is equipped with a left-hand thread and must be installed in an anti-clockwise direction.
